Further prophecies & the fall of Jerusalem

Ezek 25:1-17   Having warned Judah of it's imminent downfall as a result of abandoning God, Ezekiel prophesies against the neighbouring countries of Ammon, Moab, Edom and Philistia.

Ezek 26-28   He prophesies against the wickedness found in Tyre and Sidon.

Ezek 29-32   Ezekiel then prophesies against Egypt. He compares the nation to a withered cedar tree and to a crocodile caught in a net.

The Fall of Jerusalem

Ezek 33:21   A messenger brings news of the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians in 587BC.

Ezek 33:23-33   Ezekiel warns that those hiding in the countryside and living in the ruined cities of Judah will be killed by wild animals or disease. The land of Judah will become a desolate waste.
